I’m Kellie Wardman,
and I help people get unstuck and create lives that actually fit them.
Whether you’re figuring out what you really want from your career, stepping into leadership in your own authentic way, or just wanting to feel more like yourself in daily life—I create the space for you to remember who you really are underneath all the noise.
How I got here
Like many coaches, I didn’t start out planning to do this work. I spent a decade in organizational learning, followed by nonprofit leadership and consulting to mission-based organizations—work I still love and do today as Director of Strategy, Governance, and Leadership with DBD Group.
But along the way, I discovered something: while I love organizational work, what also energizes me is working 1:1 with people.
Through coaching, I’ve learned that people don’t need someone to fix them or tell them what to do. They need someone who believes in their capability and helps them take the leap they are longing for.
My approach
I work from the belief that you’re already naturally creative, resourceful, and whole—you just might need help remembering that.
Together, we’ll explore what you really want, figure out what’s getting in the way, and create practical steps to move forward.
No prescribed formulas. No judgment. Just authentic conversations and practical work to help you design a life that feels like you.
What qualifies me to do this work
I’m a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) through the International Coach Federation, as well as a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach® (CPCC)—which means I’ve completed rigorous training from an accredited coaching school, logged almost 2,000 coaching hours, and hold an advanced certification in team coaching (ACTC).
I’m also a licensed Firework Career Coach with specialized training in
career transitions.
Beyond coaching
As Director of Strategy, Governance, and Leadership with DBD Group, I consult with nonprofits nationwide on organizational strategy, board governance, and leadership development. I hold a BA from the University of New Hampshire and an MFA in Creative Writing from Emerson College.
When I’m not working
You’ll find me writing, playing competitive doubles tennis, getting nerdy about whales on Maui, e-biking or hiking the White Mountains, or on my yoga mat.
I’m deeply committed to creating equitable systems for all, and I’m honored to work with people from all backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences.
