What to Expect

How Coaching Works

You know there’s more for you—let’s find it together

We meet for 50 minutes via Zoom. Sessions are conversational, focused, and tailored to what you want to work on most that week.

Session Structure

Less about checking boxes, more about how you feel. Are you more confident? Clearer on what you want? Taking action that felt scary before? That's how we know it's working.

How We Measure Progress

This is where the real work happens. You’ll work on field work that we come up with together in the previous session to move your goals forward before the next one. You might try new approaches, notice patterns, work on stepping more deeply into certain qualities, do tactical career coaching work, or experiment with small changes.

Between Sessions

Most clients start with twice monthly sessions, and adjust based on what feels supportive. I have worked with many clients over many years who eventually transition to monthly deep dives.

Frequency

Show up authentically, be curious about yourself, and be willing to try things differently.

Your Role

Ask powerful questions, sense into where you want to go from here, hold space for your growth, celebrate your wins, and remind you of your capability when you forget.

My Role

Sample Coaching Questions

  • “What would you do if you weren’t afraid?”

  • “What’s the story you’re telling yourself about this situation?”

  • “What would feel like progress to you?”

  • “What are you not saying that needs to be said?"

  • “What part of you is in charge here, and what other parts are quiet?”

Is Coaching Right for You?

You might be ready for coaching if:

✓ You have this nagging feeling there’s “something more” for you
✓ You are willing to see some new perspectives
✓ You keep saying “someday I'll...” but someday never comes
✓ You’re tired of going through the motions
✓ You want to make changes and are ready to let go of some limiting beliefs
✓ You’re curious about what else is possible
✓ You’re ready to prioritize yourself (finally)
✓ You’re willing to take some risks to learn and grow
✓ You want someone in your corner who believes in your potential

Coaching might not be right if:

✗ You’re looking for someone to tell you what to do next
✗ You want quick fixes without doing any inner work
✗ You’re not open to trying new approaches
✗ You’re dealing with untreated mental health challenges
(therapy might be better)
✗ You’re not willing to take action between sessions

Still not sure? Let’s talk about it! That’s what a free Discovery call is for.
