You’re Probably Wondering…
If you’re curious about coaching but have some questions (or hesitations), you’re in the right place. Here are the things people ask me most, along with honest answers about what to expect.

That’s exactly where most people start, and it’s perfectly normal. In fact, “I don't know what I want” is often the most honest answer you can give. We’ll spend time exploring what energizes you, what drains you, and what matters to you right now (not what used to matter or what you think should matter). Clarity comes through exploration, not overthinking.

Good news: you don’t have to be. We move at your pace, always. Some of my clients make dramatic life changes; others make subtle shifts that completely transform how they experience their daily life. Both are valid. You’re in control of how far and how fast we go.
-
Therapy often focuses on healing past wounds and understanding patterns. Coaching focuses on where you are now, where you want to go, and how to get there. Both are valuable, and sometimes people benefit from both. If you’re dealing with clinical mental health issues, trauma, or deep emotional healing, therapy is likely the better starting point.

I work with people in their 20s navigating their first career moves and people in their 60s exploring what’s next. I work with executives and people just starting out. The only requirement is curiosity about what’s possible for you. Success doesn’t disqualify you from wanting more, and being stuck doesn’t mean you can’t get unstuck.
FAQ
-
You don’t have to be a feelings-focused person to benefit from coaching. We’ll work in whatever way feels natural to you—some clients prefer action-oriented approaches, others like deeper reflection. Introverts often love coaching because it’s focused, intentional conversation with just one other person. (And as an introvert who has learned to navigate an extroverted world, I get it!).
-
It depends on what you’re working toward and how you like to work. Some people see significant shifts in 3-6 months; others prefer longer-term support as life evolves. Many clients start without a set timeline and decide along the way what feels right. There’s no “right” timeline.
-
I work exclusively via Zoom, which means we can connect across time zones and geographies. The upside? You get the comfort of your own space, more scheduling flexibility, and no commute.

I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for people who could benefit from coaching but are facing financial constraints. If cost is a concern, let’s talk about it—there might be options.

AI can ask good questions, but it can’t notice the catch in your voice, sit in uncomfortable silence until the real answer emerges, or hold you accountable with loving firmness. Coaching works because of the relationship—someone who sees your potential when you can’t and calls you forward when you’re stuck. AI is a tool. Coaching is a partnership.

We’ll know pretty quickly if coaching is a good fit—usually within the first session or two. If it doesn’t feel right, I’ll be the first to suggest we pause or help you find a different approach. I’m more interested in you getting the support you need than in being right for everyone.

Whether you work with me or someone else, these questions might help you prepare for coaching:
1. What do I actually want help with?
2. Am I willing to be uncomfortable sometimes?
3. What’s my commitment level to showing up for myself?
4. How will I know if this is working?
5. What would make this investment worth it?
Take time to journal or reflect on these—they’ll help clarify what you’re looking for.
